With US 15 needles and yarn A, cast on 98 stitches leaving an 8 inch tail (for fringe). Cut A leaving an 8 inch tail.
Row 1. Change to US 13 needles and knit this row with yarn B, leaving an 8 inch tail (for the fringe) Cut B leaving an 8 inch tail. If desired, tie fringe tails together close to needle to keep them in place.
Rows 2., 3, and 4. Continue changing yarns each row leaving an 8 inch tail at the beginning and the end of each row, staying in sequence, C, D, and E. Continue in this manner, repeating the 5 rows, for a total of 10 repeats. Knitting will measure 10-11 inches at this point, but will narrow after the stitches are bound off. Bind off loosely with US 15 (or even a 17) needle and yarn A.
Give the scarf a gentle tug to help it achieve its full length. Trim fringe to make it even, if necessary.
Materials: 600 yards sport weight yarn(s), J crochet hook
Directions: Make a loose chain about 60 inches long or 12 inches longer than the desired finished length of the scarf.
Row 1: Skip 2 chains, then make 3 double crochet into the next stitch and every stitch in the chain. Cut yarn.
Row 2: Go back to the beginning and join yarn; make 2 double crochet in each double crochet. Cut yarn
Row 3: Repeat row 2.
Finishing: work in ends. Add buttons or poms or tassels at ends if desired.

Materials: 1 ball Ornaghi Positano, 9 short needles, belt buckle
Directions: Cast on 8 stitches (or number to fit your buckle)and K 10 rows (garter stitch). Loop end around center bar in belt buckle and on 11th row, put needle tip through the first stitch on completed end, also thru stitch on needle, and knit. Continue across and this will "sew" your work onto the buckle.
*K 5 rows.
Row 6: drop stitch. Wrap yarn around needle 3 x.
Row 7: knit back, dropping extra loops (this will count as row 1 for your 5 rows of garter stitch)* 15 times or to desired length.
K10 rows and bind off.
Crocheted Shell Belt with Buckle
Materials: 1 skein Tahki Yarns hand dyed cotton classic
Needles: F crochet hook
Directions: Ch 10. Turn. *SC 9 across, ch 1 Turn.* 10 x. Pull end through belt buckle and around center bar. Put hook through first stitch of first row and sc to row 10. Continue across Row to "sew" the belt onto the buckle.
Pattern
Row 1: 2 sc, sk 2 st, 5 dc in next sc (to make shell), sk 2 st, 2 sc, ch 2, turn.
Row 2: (ch 2 counts as first dc, dc in next st, ch 2, sc in center stitch of shell, ch 2, 2 dc, ch 1, turn.
Row 3: 2 sc, 2 sc in ch 2 space, sc in sc, 2 sc in ch 2 sp, 2 sc, ch 1, turn.
Row 4: 9 sc across
Repeat these rows until 36" or desired length. End with a shell row.
Oh Pretty Baby
(A Baby Blanket Using Bits!)
Materials: 700 yards DK weight yarn (cotton, wool, acrylic or blend)
Needles: 10 1/2
Stitches Used: Garter -- knit every stitch, every row
Gauge: 4.3 stitches/inch (if your gauge is little different, it's okay)
Finished Measurement: approximately 22 by 30 inches
Method: This project is done holding 2 strands of yarn throughout, one DK strand and one of the bits strand
Directions: Holding 2 yarns together, cast on 95 stitches. Work in Garter Stitch, changing bits yarn every 1-6 rows as desired. Weave in loose ends. Work until peice measures 30". Bind off.
If desired, crochet around edge of blanket.

Materials: 2 balls Colinette Point 5 (A)
1 ball Karabella Gossamer (B)
Needles: size 17 circular 24" or 29"
Pattern stitch: is stockinette.
Directions: With A, cast on 68 stitches. Purl back 1 row. Do not cut yarn.
*With B: K-1 row, P-1 row, K-1 row.
Slide the stitches to the opposite end of the needle, and with A, K-1 row.
With B, P-1 row, K-1 row, P-1 row.
**Slide the stitches to the opposite end of the needle and with A, P-1 row.
Repeat from * to ** until B runs out. Work 1 row with A, then bind off with A.
Seam the short ends together for about 7 inches.
